What sets the NAISU N1 apart from other clear ice makers?
The NAISU N1 distinguishes itself with meticulous design and rigorous testing. Our cutting-edge crystal seeding technology ensures the creation of exceptionally clear ice in record time. With our unique frost wedging technology and a convenient twisting mechanism, removing the ice sphere becomes effortless. Furthermore, despite its compact size, the NAISU N1 delivers a larger ice sphere (6.5cm / 2.56") compared to most competitors, ensuring ample cooling capacity for your drinks.
How does the NAISU N1 create clear ice spheres?
NAISU N1 leverages directional freezing and crystal seeding technology to craft crystal-clear ice spheres. This innovative process eliminates dissolved gases and impurities, resulting in visually stunning ice spheres.
How can I make the clearest ice possible?
We've achieved perfectly clear ice with tap water, and you can too! However, if you live in an area with hard water, we recommend using distilled water or water that passed through filters equipped with reverse osmosis technology. These filters effectively remove impurities, resulting in clearer ice. Alternatively, boiling water before freezing can also help reduce dissolved gases, further improving ice clarity.
How long does it take to make an ice sphere with NAISU N1?
The freezing process may take between 14-18 hours, depending on your freezer's temperature.
How do I know when my ice sphere is ready to be removed from the mold?
Your ice sphere is ready for removal when it's fully frozen and has expanded sufficiently to gently push the mold out of the cup. Typically, this process takes between 14-18 hours, depending on the temperature of your freezer.
What is the size of the ice spheres produced by NAISU N1?

Can I make multiple ice spheres at once with NAISU N1?
NAISU N1 is engineered to craft one ice sphere at a time, guaranteeing the utmost quality and clarity with each production. Thanks to its rapid freezing and slow melting properties, one ice sphere can last over three drinks. Enjoy responsibly!
How do I clean my NAISU N1?
The food-grade silicone mold and stainless-steel cup are a breeze to clean! Just wash them with warm water and mild dish soap, then let them air dry. Plus, they're fully dishwasher safe, ensuring thorough disinfection and keeping them free from mold. (See next question on using your NAISU with the dishwasher)
Is NAISU N1 dishwasher safe?
Yes! NAISU N1 Clear Ice Maker is dishwasher safe. Both the 304 stainless steel and silicone mold can withstand high temperatures in the dishwasher. Do NOT use with rinse-aid. It leaves a residue on the silicone mold that causes impurities in the ice. To resolve the issue, fully immerse and boil the silicone mold in water for 1-2 minutes, to remove the residue, and the subsequent ice will be clear. Do NOT put the tumbler cap into the dishwasher. The cap is hand wash only.
Are there any special storage instructions for NAISU N1?
Store your NAISU N1 in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure the mold is completely dry before storing to prevent any mold or mildew growth.
Why is the NAISU N1 environmentally friendly?
At NAISU, we care about the environment. NAISU N1 is primarily constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, a material that is both long-lasting and commonly recycled. While silicone is not as easily recyclable, we ensure that our product is built to last, reducing the need for frequent replacements and minimizing waste.
Can I use NAISU N1 to make flavored or infused ice spheres?
Absolutely! Feel free to get creative and experiment with various flavors and ingredients such as fruit juices, herbs, or edible flowers to craft personalized and unique ice spheres for your drinks. However, it's essential to note that flavorings are considered "impurities" and may affect the clarity of the ice, resulting in a slightly cloudy appearance.
Can I use NAISU N1 for other purposes besides making ice spheres?
Absolutely! Our insulated tumbler is perfect for keeping your favorite beverages and desserts hot or cold, whether you're at home or on the go. You can even use it to buy frozen yogurt, keeping it from melting while you enjoy it!
Can I use NAISU N1 in a commercial setting, like a bar or restaurant?

Why does my ice crack?
Ice can indeed crack due to its brittle nature and the extreme cold temperatures. To prevent cracking, it's crucial to temper the ice by letting it rest in the glass on the table for at least 2 minutes before pouring any liquid onto it. This tempering process helps normalize the ice's temperature. You'll know it's ready when the frosted appearance on the surface disappears.
